Västervik, Sweden – Draco Boats, legendary name in Scandinavian dual-console boat manufacturing, renews focus on sales and marketing in the United States with its two latest models, the Draco 27 and 22.
Draco Boats has been known for its innovative designs, superb quality, handling and seaworthiness since the 1960s. Made in the same nautical tradition, the new models are built with an enhanced modern aesthetic with ultra-clean lines. The Draco 27 features the largest bow lounge in its class, as well as exceptional handling and power; while the 22 is a performance-oriented runabout with premium details and an unforgettable profile.
Whether intended for day trips or the occasional overnight, the Draco 27 offers a flexible cockpit for up to six, a single 200HP to 400HP outboard for breathtaking performance and precision handling, and plenty of amenities for a comfortable and stress-free day on the water. A versatile interior features co-pilot seats that swivel to face a central table and premium trim options. Sofa seating converts to a large sun pad bow lounge with room for everyone to stretch out, while a cockpit canopy protects guests when docked or underway. Thoughtful extras include a sink, fridge, toilet and shower. Standard to the build are practical touches such as heavy-duty hull fendering to a foldout boarding step.
Like its bigger sibling, the Draco 22 boasts cutting-edge innovation, family-friendly amenities and sleek Scandinavian design. Highlights include a deep, secure cockpit aft of spacious bow seating and a fold-down bench, which easily converts to a sun pad. A fold-up canopy and bimini system, and additional options like a 12V fridge finish the package for the ultimate boating experience.
“For decades, the Draco name was synonymous with high-quality, high-performance, retro-styled dual-console boats,” said Fredrik Delic, sales operations director, Windy Scandinavia AB / Draco Boats. “We like to think of our new models as ‘small superyachts,’ bringing extraordinary fit and finish to the under 30-foot, outboard-driven, powerboat market. We have re-envisioned our product line by employing the latest methods in marine engineering and design for a finished product that is sure to turn heads.”
“Draco strives to embody the very pinnacle of bespoke craftsmanship and cutting-edge design in its category,” said Cuyler Morris, principal, Navic LLC and East Coast Draco Boats dealer. “They are built for the way people actually boat, and our team is truly excited to offer these designs in the U.S.”
