Auckland, New Zealand – HikoTerra, innovator in mobile integrated power solutions, announced today an investment by accomplished private equity and venture capital investor John Clifford to support Company growth.
With a passion for both boating and the renewable energy sector, Clifford’s investment will help the HikoTerra team hire additional engineering talent to bring the Company’s next-generation marine power solutions to market. In addition to team expansion, Clifford will help HikoTerra’s mission to innovate and disrupt in mobile power systems.
Clifford has a proven track record of success across the renewable energy sector. His experience includes IPOs, public markets, acquisitions, debt and equity fundraising, start-ups and more. He has direct executive experience in well over 100 private equity transactions worldwide and has driven many companies through the investment cycle to exit. Clifford currently serves as the Chairman for Sydney-based Virescent Ventures and previously worked for U.K. investor 3i and investment bank Rothschild. He is also currently serving as Chairman and is an investor in Relectrify, an Australian company innovating as the global leader in cell-level battery management.
